Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day is not just a day to celebrate romantic love, but friendships and family and all kinds of love. The other night, my family and I went over to my cousin’s house to celebrate my cousin’s early Valentine’s Day birthday. I not only go to see him, but also my other cousins, uncles, and aunts. I hadn’t seen them in a couple of months, and it was good to catch up. To be honest, I had an amazing time. I didn’t even check my phone for the time or beg my parents to leave. And hopefully, we'll have another family reunion on my other younger cousin's birthday in March. Today, my mother got my brother and I chocolates and cupcakes to wish us a Happy Valentine’s Day. Usually, my parents are pretty sweet and get us candy and flowers or whatever. After all, Valentine’s Day is a holiday and holidays should be fun. Even though I’m single, I still have people I love who love me back and I actually enjoy this day. So, Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
